Choc O Bloc Festival

-pBreaking News! From the 3rd of July through the 8th, Caffeine will be taking part in the Cape Town Chocolate Festival. City restaurants and cafes will be loading chocolate based specials on their menu to see who comes out with the winning entry. We will be adding a CherryFlava Muffin (named after the blog), Panettone Bread Pudding with dark chocolate in the center, and a Chicken Molle (Mexican influence).

I may even throw out a batch or two of my semi famous brownies. The specials will also be available in Sea Point and Hout Bay. See you there.

  1. just sampled some of Joe’s chocolate treats that he was serving to the judges.

    Next year i need to be a judge in the chocolate competition.

  3. Just a late update. We were notified that we are in the final two for the chocolate competition. Our Chicken Mole seemed to win the judges over and it sold out quickly. wednesday at 11:40 we will be visited by Jenny Morris, Josi Borain, SA Chef’s Assoc, as well as You and Fairlady Magazines. From there they choose the winner who will be featured in the mags as well as in the Eating Out guide. hold thumbs for us.
