BarCamp Reunion

Some of Cape Town’s techno-cogniscenti will be coming to visit us on Thursday evening, around 6 O’clock.

This might be a good place to be if you’d like to hook-up with some software/hardware/market-maven type gurus.

We’re looking forward to witnessing business at the speed of conversation (<< as per Dave Duarte’s journal).

  2. I was going to apolgise for not making it to Wednesday mornings meeting, but thursday evening sounds like a plan. Do techno-cogniscenti people look like geeks or something else, how does one spot the selective crowd?

  4. To answer the second part of Digiguru’s question – yeah, you can’t miss us. Our standard uniform is:
    -Thick glasses,
    -pocket protectors,
    -checked shirts, and
    - pants pulled up just under our nipples.
    Failing that, you can probably recognize us by the visible mental energy that storms all around us;-)
    Jokes – we’re pretty normal but Joe will point us out when u come in.
    BTW: Time’s been moved to 6:30pm, not 6.

    Yo Tentman – check the post above… i think we touched on at least one point that was a major revelation for us geeks. otherwise it was just cool getting to know a bit more about what each person there does. Passion abounded!
