Caffeine Business Breakfast Club

Every second Wednesday morning, the Caffeine Business Breakfast Club (CBBC) meets for buzzy coffee and a couple of mindblowingly delicious muffins.
Alot of business goes down and a good time is had by all. Thanks to Stuart, who graciously decided to sponsor everyone their breakfasts today!!
This morning we heard an inspiring presentation from Ted, who works for Education without Borders.Ted reckons that if we ever want a reminder of how priviledged we are, then we should come and hang out at some of the schools in Gugulethu where Education without Borders works. Another interesting point he made is that the kids at these poor schools are incredibly enthusiastic about education and really make the most of every opportunity that comes their way… So we can make a difference to their lives and their futures (which is tied up with our future too, actually).

Good point Rob. I nominate Eric Edelstein to lead the session!
Lekker offer for bloggers from your site DD:: but not sure why it’s not on this blog. If it’s on, will be blogging about Caffeine & then damn sure I’ll be in for my prize
(hope Joe’s staff know about the deal on offer for bloglove?)mmm..freshly baked muffins and a black americano on a chilly foggy winter’s morn sounds damn fine.
Stoked to get the Caffeine buzz on at the fresh Seapoint spot esp. since it’s mere steps away from my office >> so any1 who’s heading along to take up the offer – mail me & I’ll join you.. max.kaizen@gmail.com
The blogger's offer will be up this weekend when we launch the site officially at Barcamp Cape Town.
[...] From Dave Duarte’s Journal At BarCamp this Friday I’ll be giving an interactive talk on “Marketing 2.0″ (social media marketing, bootstrapping, word-of-mouth etc) using case studies from Stormhoek Wine, and Caffeine in Seapoint(You can bring my muffin to BarCamp), and Bead4need. [...]

haha – when I got Stu’s mail I thought that the speaker for next week was Ken Blanchard
Main Road in Sea Point is rather long and I don’t know where the new @Home is (so if I asked @Home they would probably tell me they are next to you, hehehe…) so I think you should state the street number on your Web site.
Just a heads up for you bloggers. The Sea Point location is at 11 Regent Road, 2 doors from the new @ Home store. We are also at 38 Riebeek Street, between Moulin Rouge and Adult World (we can feed your tastebuds and your hormones in that little neighborhood). And also in the Mainstream shopping centre in Hout Bay. Call me directly if you need to at 083 222 9390.
Tania has a good point. I wonder what the best landmark in the area is so that new visitors can get their bearing?
I wouldn’t have a clue if someone gave me a street number, as many shops don’t have street numbers clearly visible on them.
Anyone got suggestions for a landmark now that @ home has been discarded!
Free sugar for your next cappachino with each GREAT suggestion… LOL
Location. 200m after New York Bagels on the main road and on your way to Green Point
AS A FINANCIAL PLANNER I WOULD IDEALLY LIKE TO DO BUSINESS WITH
1.Married couples who want to form a working relationship with a great financial adviser
2.Singletons with dependants who want to form a working relationship with a great financial adviser
3.Someone who can invest a minimum of R1000pm and who wants to form a working relationship with a great financial adviser
4.Someone who can invest a minimum of R50000 lump sum and who wants to form a working relationship with a great financial adviser
5.Business men and women who are partners or shareholders in private companies and who want to form a working relationship with a great financial adviser
6.Self Employed persons who require Income Disability Protection and who want to form a working relationship with a great financial adviser
7.Someone who is planning on leaving their job and in turn their company’s provident or pension fund and needs advice and who want to form a working relationship with a great financial adviser
Stu – one free packet of white or brown sugar or even a single sweetner for your next cappachino at Caffeine.
One more win Stu and you’ll have 2 sugars for your next cup (assuming you actually take sugar with your coffee, this will come in useful)
I must confess dear friend that i don’t drink coffee, but my wife loves the stuff and I will be bringing her and her wedding planning business (www.pieceofcake.co.za) for a cup and a muffin at the soonest.
Lot’s of sweetness for your business.
THE LAW OF ATTRACTION: Whatever you focus on, you will automatically attract into your life; and there are no exceptions
Just thought I’d remind my fellow caffiene people out there – i’m not sure what we call ourselves – is it the business breakfast, the network breakfast, the concept breakfast, the living legends breakfast – either way, the coffee is great (and I’m a self-confessed coffee snob) and the savoury muffins are crazy good. Oh yes, and the ideas, thoughts, concepts and energy from our group energize me for the week, or is that the coffee!!!!?!
By the way, why not make your reality ideal.
Lior
Congrats Joe
